With the rapid development of modern electronic and telecommunication technology,make the characteristics of microwave communication equipment tend to be more and more low-cost,small size,and high performance in the future.Especially the transceiver front-end module,which is widely used in satellite communication,navigation of military field and even kinds of the terminal electronic products,automobile of civil industry,makes great progress and application in decades.The thesis is focused on the study of a L band transceiver.The main modules of the transceiver are analyzed in theory,and then suitable modules are chosen or designed,and at last the whole transceiver is manufactured and measured.Firstly,introduced some types of frequently-used receiver RF front end,such as the superheterodyne receiver,the zero-IF receiver,the anti-image receiver,discussed their merits and demerits and the methods to improve them detailedly,especially introduced the superheterodyne receiver RF front end,and then introduced the main technical parameters of the receiver RF front end.Then,based on the topological structure of superheterodyne receiver RF front end,combine with the characteristics of electronic device and the problem of signal crosstalk,designed a L band transceiver RF front end which has receiving and transmitting channel and with the function of up or down conversion.The test results show that:in the transmit channel,the output power for continuous wave is higher than 27 dBm while is higher than 20 dBm for BPSK signal,and the spurious suppression is greater than 60 dBc when the input signal is-10 dBm across 1411MHz~1511MHz and the phase noise is-136.70dBc/Hz at the frequency where is off center frequency(1.375GHz)1MHz.In the receive channel,the output power for continuous wave is-3.2dBm~-1.84 dBm while there is no distortion for BPSK signal,and the spurious suppression in this channel is greater than 60 dBc and the phase noise is-134.35dBc/Hz at the frequency where is off center frequency(2.294GHz)1MHz and the noise figure is about 2.8dB.The transceiver RF front end has good technical index.
