As one of the new applications of the Internet plus,wireless-sensor-monitoring-system has widely practical value in oil pipelines,bridges and fence safety monitoring etc.However,these systems are rarely deployed because of power limited.Many people research this field and the self-powered monitoring system could be practical used in the near future.By using a hybrid energy-harvesting mode,a novel event-driven and self-powered wireless-sensor-monitoring-system is proposed.It consists of wireless alarming sensor node,router node,GSM network and receiving terminal.The dual-stage monitoring energy harvester has frequency-up-conversion and threshold-triggered electricity generating function.Such harvesters generate considerable power when the ambient vibration reaches the two preset values.Besides,power-generating energy harvester is used to generate more electric-power for wireless transmitting the 433MHz alarm-signals within a short time.Finally,the router node retransmits the wireless signal from sensor node to GSM network and expands the deployment.The experimental result shows the monitoring system could be used in the fence of'South-to-North Water Diversion'.Wireless alarming sensor node which is anchored on the fence and placed 1.5 mW power generated harvesters can send out +10 dBm wireless alarming signal within two seconds.Then the receiving terminal will receive the alarm signal sent by the router node and acts perfectly.
