Currently,with the rapid development of the Internet,competition between operators to maximize market share,has become more intense.Roles have evolved network operators,from providing basic network services,to providing maintenance and core security services,and which has gradually transformed the industry from a traditional cost center to into a profit center.With the surge in competition,the market has been flooded with various network management products from across the globe with a wide range of capabilities to address specific areas.The infuse of a wide range of network management equipment,has only added to the management challenge.In addition,the existing scenario presents a few more challenges,such as,how to better monitor a networks running status,and how to manage network resource allocation and data analysis,to meet the desired objectives of the network.The application framework applied in this article,is a unified design based on ITIL best practices,from process interactive,design view,and operation,to maintenance of an intelligent network platform level model.This model helps us to address the challenge in improving the operator's network management capabilities as a whole,and also enhances network operation and maintenance work manageability.It improves the quality of business support services for the purpose of a carrier network operation and maintenance needs.This unified platform helps to address the shortfalls in traditional models for network maintenance/analysis,in a whole new way,pivoting on the globally accepted standards of ITIL,and projects the advantages in managing each module design and application mellifluously.Based on the ITIL best practices on the design of the current preliminary assessment methodology,operator's operation,and maintenance management systems,this evaluation method has brought up a unified platform for the current operators to deal with operation,maintenance,management problems,and intelligent housekeeping,while maintaining a unified platform developed for more usability.In this paper,the main achievement of the operator's network operation and maintenance,is to:1.Establish a unified and efficient resource sharing platform.2.To provide effective and innovative maintenance management,improve quality,and to reduce cost and complexity.3.Integrate a dispersed range of equipment and management platforms,to reduce the impact of network adjustments and business demands.4.Establish a modular system of maintenance and management,on-demand executive management,and provide innovative service management.
