As the expansion and extension of the computer animation,the three-dimensional(3D)animations have been widely used in medical analysis,education,military simulation,entertainment and other fields.Using the traditional methods for making the character animation is a special time-consuming and labor-intensive task,and to create the effect of realistic character animation depends entirely on the ability of animator.In order to overcome the above problems,more and more researchers begin to focus on motion retargeting techniques,motion retargeting techniques are proposed the more efficient production of various character animation by existing motion capture data.This paper analyzes the human-like character animation that they are in different structures and diverse styles,the main studied by our is how to reuse existing motion capture data and eliminate distortion.In this dissertation,several key points are studied as follows:Firstly,this paper has introduced the source of the roles model,and use 3D modeling software to complete that skin model is attached on the skeleton model,so to establish the verisimilar 3D virtual character.Followed by the extraction of the bone file and motion capture files,this production process of virtual human animation is to parse the bone file and motion capture files.Secondly,the paper puts an automated mapping process for the human-like character,which uses the skeleton hierarchy structure and symmetries.Skeletons with different joint names can be adapted to the target application by creating an automated skeleton mapping,Some motion capture data need to know which the standard joint names are involved in a particular action in order to work properly,it is easy for the different skeleton mapping.Finally,this paper presents a motion retargeting method for solving topologically different characters to implement a real-time motion retargeting method for characters between human and human-like character.This paper focuses on the core issue which creates a joint mapping between the source character and the target character,aligns the default pose between the target skeleton and the source skeleton,transfers an example motion set from our source skeleton to target skeleton provided by the user and proposes the motion retargeting method based on the displacement mapping and IK method based Jacobian Matrix.Experimental results show that our method can reuse motion-captured data of the source character,while the target animation can hold motion feature of source animation.
