With the development of LIDAR technology,the requirement about the performance of the radar signal processing systems have become more and more strict.First,it is reflected in the rate and resolution of the signal acquisition;secondly,it is reflected in the highest clock rate of processor.Low sampling rate and low processing rate of the signal acquisition and processing system has been unable to meet the current stage of real-time processing system for high precision and high processing speed requirements.With the advent of high-speed ADC and high-performance FPGA,the idea of designing a real-time signal processing system becomes feasible.Based on a high-performance FPGA and three high-speed ADC,a multi-channel real-time LIDAR signal acquisition and processing module is designed in this paper.Firstly,according to the specifications and requirements given by project,the paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the specific requirements of the processing rate and data transfer rate,selects high-performance ADC and FPGA chip,and gives the overall design of signal acquisition and processing module,and also introduces the knowledge about the signal acquisition and processing principle.Secondly,design ideas and schematic design of the clock module,the DDR2 memory module,the power module,the DSP module and the peripheral interface of the FPGA are described in this paper.And according to signal and power integrity,the design ideas and methods of PCB are introduced.Then,the hardware debugging methods and results of this signal acquisition and processing board are described.Finally,this paper elaborates the logic design of the FPGA.Firstly,completes the configuration of the clock PLL circuit.Secondly,starting from the ADC chip configuration,working mode setting is completed,and achieve three ADCs synchronization.The serial data conversion and deceleration of sampled data are designed either.Then,this paper implements FIR digital filter based on FPGA.Meanwhile,based on the IP core,the DDR2 memory control has been achieved.In summary,based on ADC and FPGA chip,this multi-channel high-speed signal acquisition and processing module has been proved to be of some value in engineering application.
