The Discourse Analysis Of Network Facial Expression In The Context Of Youth Subculture

As a non-verbal symbol in the network virtual field,the network facial expression is mainly composed of symbols such as images and words,and is transmitted in a non-verbal form in network communication.Because of its superiority in visual communication,the network facial expression often expresses emotions and thoughts that ordinary words can not express in a more lively and interesting way,making network communication more intuitive and full of fun.The main users of the network facial expression are adolescents.Internet facial expression is not only a manifestation of youth subculture,but also an active,influential and indispensable factor in adolescent subculture.On the basis of collecting the network facial expression,this dissertation uses discourse analysis method to analyze discourse structure,discourse style,discourse organization rules involved in the construction of youth subculture and the power relations implied in it.This paper starts with the relationship between the network facial expression and the subcultures of the youth.It analyzes the symbolic expression of the network facial expression in the subcultures of adolescents,and further discusses the rules of discourse organization adopted by the network facial expressions in the construction of the youth subculture.The paper explains how the collage,isomorphism and imitative discourse organization rules operate.At the same time,it reveals the construction and presentation of the network facial expression's discourse power in public events in the context of youth subcultures from the perspective of discourse power.
