With the popularity of smart devices and the rapid growth of various multimedia applications, the demand for mobile broadband is experiencing an unprecedented rise and the data traffic that the network needs to handle has exceeded the limits of existing cellular networks. In the research of the fifth generation(5G)systems,D2D(Device-to-Device)communication is one of the key technologies of the 5G network for it can enable proximity devices to skip the base station(BS)and establish a communication link directly. Thus it has various potential advantages such as improving the utilization of cellular spectrum, offloading BS's traffic load, reducing energy consumption, enhancing network capacity and so on,and has received widely attention. However, due to the unique spectral reusing method of D2D communication,it will inevitably introduce additional interference to the original cellular user equipments(CUEs)in the network.Without effective resource allocation and interference management mechanisms, the problem of system performance degradation caused by interference among users will seriously limit the application of D2D technology in future communication scenarios. Therefore, this article first focus on D2D communication underlaying cellular networks and study the interference management problem caused by spectrum sharing. With the help of the relevant framework in contract theory from microeconomics,we consider the network operator(e.g.base station)as the seller,D2D user as the buyer, and propose a Power-Constrained Spectrum Renting(PCSR)pricing mechanism. The utility function of each party in the spectrum trading is given and the optimal strategy for maximizing their own utility is derived. The proposed mechanism can be utilized by the BS to constrain D2D user's behavior effectively and incent more efficient wireless resource sharing methods and cooperative communication schemes between CUEs and D2D user equipments(DUEs)in the cellular network,so as to achieve friendly coexistence between them as well as improve the utility of the whole network.Simulation results show that the proposed PCSR mechanism can realize efficient interference management and improve the overall performance of the system, also incent more high-quality users in the network to participate in D2D content sharing. Moreover,to further investigate the potential of D2D communication in 5G networks, this thesis combines the specific demand of future mobile communication scenarios and builds the energy efficiency optimization problem of D2D communication based on the consideration of intelligent device's energy consumption problem.Through reasonable resource allocation method,we aim to coordinate the interference between users and reduce the power consumption so to achieve the optimal system energy efficiency. To solve the nonlinear and multi-constraint optimization problem,a centralized joint resource allocation and power control(JRAPC)algorithm based on the harmony search(HS)is proposed. The corresponding coding scheme is designed for our system scenario, and the problem of falling into local optimality is improved by utilizing the characteristic of infeasible solution.Simulation results show that our proposed algorithm can solve D2D JRAPC problem efficiently, and improve the energy efficiency of the system while ensuring the users' quality of service(QoS).Thus, this work has great innovation and practical significance.
