The rapid development of auto industry in China greatly fuels the vehicle repair industry.A well-developed information management system is conducive to enhancing the degree of information technology in vehicle repair company's business operations.This paper primarily focuses on the Vehicle Company,designing and developing of the vehicle repairing information management system.Along with the technology and research direction of the system determined,the research status of automotive maintenance information system at home and abroad is comprehensively analyzed.Based on the running environment of vehicle repair system,Web structure is selected for the development of the system,for which,combining the technology of JSP,Servlet and JPA is employed as the technology element.JSP is responsible for system interface implementation,to display system data and for the collection of user data.Servlet plays the role of the logic process component of functioning,by which business logic operation is processed via specific methods.JPA plays the role of database communication component,which provides JPI with a series of database for application program to call.Based on the research and analysis of the functional characteristics,the information system is divided into five modules,including the module of system maintenance,spare parts management,member management,repair management and data query module.By determining the function of each module included in the system,and the formation of the functional model,System users are categorized into several kinds of participants,including system manager,spare parts manager,repair manager and etc.UML use case model is established to describe particpants' requirements.System performance characteristics being analyzed,from the aspects of database portability,functional completeness and etc,performance analysis mode is completed;in this paper,with the vehicle repair information system database mode designed,database conceptual model and relation model are completed,and database tables are created.Coupled with designing the Functions in this system specifically,work flow model,class model and sequence model have come into being.In work flow model,specific businesses operations concluded in the process of operating each functions are described,and relations between different operations are determined.Class diagram model described business classes and methods for every function realization,and relations among different functional business classes are determined.Time series model described calling sequence between different classes and methods.Based on system design model,the system is developed,and system running results are acquired.Vehicle repair information system runs steadily,which provides an advanced information platform and enhances information level in this company.
