With the rapid development of wireless communication technology,the reliability and efficiency requirements of wireless communication services are also increasing.The fading characteristics of wireless channel such as free space path loss,multipath fading and shadow fading severely limit the transmission quality of wireless signal.The distributed antenna system eliminates the unfavorable factors of the wireless channel and improves the transmission performance of the system by introducing the space diversity technique.Software-defined radio technology achieves a variety of communication algorithms and functions through software programming and can significantly reduce implementation complexity of the wireless communication system.Based on this,a verification system with strong anti-fading ability and low complexity is designed and implemented adopting software-defined radio platform.Firstly,a distributed diversity reception solution for terrestrial wireless communication is proposed based on DVB-T which is the European terrestrial digital TV broadcasting standard.The solution divides the general DVB-T receiver architecture into an inner receiver and an outer receiver.Four distributed inner receivers are used as the antenna unit and are connected with the outer receiver which plays as the central processing unit in the same local area network.The synchronization between different antenna elements is realized by using the idle bit of DVB-T transmission parameter signaling to carry superframe number.The data receiving method based on UDP is used to detect and deal with the abnormal situation of the antenna unit.Furthermore,the designed distributed reception system is tested on the platform of the USRP,and the data packet error rate of each inner receiver and the outer receiver are counted and the performance under different transmit power is analyzed.Test results show that the designed distributed reception system can effectively combat the fading and noise of wireless channel and improve the transmission reliability of wireless communication system.
