With the development of industrial automation and intelligent production,the dependence of people on machinery has also improved greatly.In many industrial production scene,we may use a lot of flammable gas.In order to meet production requirements,and ensure the purity of the gas material,we usually do not add signature material,such as something with bright color or pungent smell,in the gas,this leading to the gas has the characteristics of the colorless,odorless and flammable and explosive.Once these gases leak out in the process of transportation or storage,they will bring great harm to the enterprises and society.In this paper,we applied the passive gas leak infrared imaging detection technology,compared with the traditional gas detection technology,it has the advantages of more flexibility,more detection range,stronger stability,more pertinence.Compared with the active infrared gas detection technology,passive infrared gas detection technology has the advantages of simpler device,higher safety factor,more stable detection effect and higher cost performance.In this paper,a flammable and explosive gas leakage detection system is designed based on the passive gas leak infrared imaging detection technology.The system includes the gas infrared image processing algorithm and the hardware part of the image acquisition and video processing.In the algorithm part,because the gas leak infrared image has the characteristics of low contrast,dynamic background,the traditional gas detection algorithm often can not get the complete gas target image,we design a target extraction method combined with the background difference method and frame difference method,then the frame differences and background differences among multiple frames are accumulated and combined to obtain more accurate gas leak areas.At last,we use the denoising method based on the morphological characteristic of the gas leak image to remove the noise.In the hardware part,we designed with a non-refrigerated focal plane detector andTL8148 video processor as the core of the gas leakage infrared imaging detection system.Specific content includes,the selection of non-refrigerated focal plane detector,and the selection and configuration of optical filter,introduction of the structure of video processing hardware platform and DVR RDK video application software development kit.Finally,the experiment system of the gas leakage infrared imaging detection system used in the laboratory is introduced and the experimental results are shown.The design of the flammable and explosive gas leak detection system is verified to be feasible.And the results of the experiments show that a clear and complete gas target image can be obtained,and it can realizes real-time detection.
