With the development of the mobile communication technology,smartphones are playing an increasingly important role in our daily life.Not only that,a smartphone with a metal rim has become an obvious trend in recent years.So the research and design of broadband miniaturized antenna in a metal-rimmed boundary conditions is of great significance.At the same time,with the putting forward of the fifth generation communication technology,the high frequency antenna has attracted much attention.Due to the high frequency spectrum resources are very rich,it is possible that the mobile antenna cover the high frequency band in the future.Therefore,the thesis focuses on the design of terminal antenna with a metal rim and 5G terminal antenna.In short,the main content of the thesis can be summarized as follows:1.Design of a simple structure with an broken metal-rimmed antenna,which makes use of the two section frame to design antenna.In addition,The antenna has two simple strips,a grounded point and simple L type matching circuit.The substrate as system circuit has the area of the top no-ground portion.The proposed antenna can cover two wide operating bands of 698-960 MHz and 1710-2690 MHz.2.Design of two unbroken metal-rimmed antennas.The first antenna is internal coupled-fed hepta-band antenna with a parasitic ground strip for unbroken metal-rimmed smartphone.The antenna can generate two loop modes by using a driven spiral monopole strip,a parasitic ground strip,an unbroken metal rim and the inner system ground.The system circuit board has two no-ground portions.At the same time,the antenna has two grounded points,which one loads lumped elements.The proposed antenna can cover two wide operating bands of 824-960 MHz and 1710-2690 MHz.The second antenna is a kind of unbroken metal-rimmed antenna with switches.The antenna can generate many loop modes by three switches.The substrate as system circuit has the extremely narrow area of the top no-ground portion.By controlling of three switching modes,the antenna can successfully cover GSM850/900/DCS1800/PCS1900/UMTS2100/LTE2300/2500 bands.3.Design of two kinds of 5G high frequency terminal antennas.One is the MIMO terminal two antennas,the other is the MIMO terminal four antennas.The MIMO terminal two antennas can be formed by two substrate integrated waveguide H-plane horn antennas.When antennas work independently,the minimum of the gain in the horizontal is 1.4 dB.But upper space and lower space on the system circuit board have a large range that the gain is a little low.In order to compensate the lack of gain,we try to put a substrate integrated waveguide microstrip antenna fed by slot to the back and front of the board.When four antennas work independently,the lack of the gain has been compensated.The simulated results of 2-D patterns can realize the horizontal omnidirectional coverage.When the antenna used as MIMO,it also can improve the channel capacity and the rates of data transmission.It is well suited to the needs of the fifth generation communication technology.
