This topic comes from the special instrument of the Science and Technology,cooperate with a research institute to do the development of laser range finder,and the key technology of this project can be used for synthetic aperture laser radar(SAL).In the realization of laser ranging,compared to the frequency modulation laser ranging method,the pulse phase is applied earlier and more widely.Considering the traditional pulsed laser ranging's shortcoming that it needs a big peak power,this paper using the coherent linear frequency modulation of continuous wave system to realize the signal processing on remote detection.With the increasingly mature technology of radar signal processing,the algorithm of signal processing task is more and more complicated,and the amount of source data to be processed is also increasing.Therefore,the traditional single-core digital signal processor can not meet the requirements of the system.To this end,this subject use the multi-core DSP that can improve the whole performance of the entire signal processing system.For multi-core DSP can handle tasks in eight cores at the same time,which makes the signal processing faster,lower cost and power consumption also.This design is based on TMS320C6678 multi-core DSP,studied the real-time signal processing of laser ranging,and the specific contents include the following parts:Firstly,based on the three commonly used laser ranging principle,like pulse type,phase type and frequency modulation type,this paper study the phase type and frequency modulation type's laser ranging method,and put forward the corresponding algorithm design,to verify the feasibility of the algorithm,the thesis also give the MATLAB simulation results.The article focus on the realization process of FM type laser ranging,using the downsampling prefilter and the CZT spectral refinement method.Secondly,in view of the requirement of high precision and real-time performance of the signal processing,the architecture of the signal processing board designed in the thesis is based on the FPGA and multi-core DSP,using dual-channel AD do data sampling,which single-channel AD data transfer rate can reach 200 MBps,and also design the overall work process for the whole algorithm of the real-time signal processing,furthermore,this paper detailed introduction the kernel,CPU architecture and memory structure of C6678 multi-core DSP.Thirdly,the thesis focuses on the realization of the laser ranging real-time signal processing based on C6678,and makes a reasonable allocation of work tasks for each core in the DSP,also describes the communication among the cores and the methods about the code optimization.Fourthly,the thesis do the time evaluation and real-time analysis for the whole process of the real-time signal processing,and finally gives the results of real-time signal processing of laser ranging,which is in full compliance with high precision and real-time.At last,a brief summary of the thesis is given,and put forward the shortcomings of the thesis.Subsequent will corresponding organization field test,and considering put the DSP from a single extended to more pieces,so that make the processing more faster.
