The range-measurement through the laser-pulse train has high precision. In that the probability of the laser-pulse echoes which the laser generate-and-receive system can be detected commonly presents the propriety of the range-measurement. It is usually called detection probability. The problem the thesis purposely to solve is under the condition with the same probability of false alert,how can we modulate the system to have the highest detection probability with the low SNR. The key points to the problem are : how can we precisely detect the echoes under the low SNR. Through what kind of methods processing the mixed signal of echoes and noises can we reach to the best propriety of detection. The theses mainly gives the theoretical analysis on the amelioration to the proprieties of the range-measurement through the laser-pulse train: it firstly introduces the basic principles of the range-measurement through the laser-pulse. Consequently, the thesis proposes several ameliorative alternatives to the range-measurement including matching-filtering, the accumulation of non-phase parameters. The wavelet filtering, and simulates all these methods on the computer in addition. Finally, the thesis introduces statistical analysis of the propriety of the range-measurement, and processes the computer simulation.
