Microstrip antenna is one of the most important components in wireless communication system,its performance affects the communication quality of the system directly.With the development of wireless terminal equipment which tends to be multi-functional and miniaturization,it puts forward higher requirements on the performance of microstrip antenna,especially in the aspect of miniaturization.However,the conventional method of Euclidean shape miniaturization antenna will lead to the degradation of some performance,and these methods to achieve the degree of miniaturization is limited.Therefore,these problems limit the development of miniaturized microstrip antennas.In this thesis,the miniaturization of microstrip antennas is analyzed in depth.This thesis presents a design ofmicrostrip radiator using Hibert structure with high efficiency and the coupling between microstrip lines.In this thesis,first of all,the second order Hilbert microstrip antenna which is in 2.4GHz band is designed,and the microstrip antenna miniaturization is realized.Then,on the basis of experiment,the validity and limitation of Hilbert fractalstructure in antenna miniaturization are explained in detail.Finally,according to the second order Hilbert structure,the structure is improved so that the surface current of microstrip antenna adjacent to the same as the coupling between microstrip lines,which increases the effective electrical length of the antenna,thereby reducing the size of the antenna.In this thesis,the designed antenna meets the requirements of 2.4GHz wireless technology in the antenna bandwidth and gain.In the process of the design,the antenna is improved by the Ansoft HFSS 13 electromagnetic simulation software,and the results are verified by simulation.On the basis of simulation,the antenna is made into PCB board and tested in vector network analyzer and microwave anechoic chamber.The test results show that the center frequency of microstrip antenna is 2440MHz,the effective bandwidth is 210MHz,the antenna surface area is 9.6*7.9mm2 and the antenna gain is 3.84dBi.In this thesis,a new type of microstrip antenna is proposed,which can meet the requirements of the 2.4GHz wireless technology and has a certain practical value in the field of wireless communication.
