Dunhuang documents mainly includes hand-written document and the contents of documents are rich.Yingcang Dunhuang Shehui Lishi Wenxian Shilu is the large book to research and explain non-Buddhist documents stored in Britain and convenient to development of Dunhuang studies.But the books still have some inevitable problems.By the contrasting Dunhuang initial images,for instance,Dunhuang Treasure,Dunhuang Literature Collected By England,or IDP's color photographs,and connecting with the predecessors research results,the article makes a study of tenth and eleventh volumes' interpretation of Yingcang Dunhuang Shehui Lishi Wenxian Shilu,mainly supplements and corrects interpretation.The article includes three parts.The first chapter introduce the related concepts and present research situation.The second chapter is “ <Yingcang Dunhuang Shehui Lishi Wenxian Shilu>supplementation and correction ”,which includes texts,collate and punctuation.The last chapter is “the meaning of studying interpretation”,on the one hand,it can contribute to the interpretation of the Dunhuang documents;on the other hand,the results can be used to the revised ones of dictionary.In the last,article has “S.2071—S.2352 Dunhuang vulgar list”,which is typical but uncollected by the Dunhuang vulgar dictionary.
