The transmission of information is much easier than before because of the development of computer network,while at the same time some new challenges for information security have emerged.The steganography technology becomes the application focus of network and information security field with the existence property of confidential information transmission.To satisfy the demand of confidential communication based on steganography,some pieces of digital video will be the carrier for the steganography,and the designation and research about the algorithm will be worked out based on video compression technology.The research of steganography technology focuses on the designation of embedding region and the details of embedding rules,so the research on embedding region and rules will be the first content.The embedding region research based on video compression technology aims at the data hiding using the time and space redundancy of the video.As a result,the emphasis of the research on embedding region will be the generation of the appropriate regions from the redundancy data.The research on the embedding rules focuses on the transformation of the carrier data expression,and especially the transformation of the video data expression here will take place between the images of intra-frame.Based on this,the algorithm using MPEG-1 and Color Transfer theory can be proposed.With the advantage on space redundancy of video compression,the algorithm will use MPEG-1 to abstract the redundancy information and transform it into the pseudo-digital images.Then the embedding rules in the pseudo-digital images will be set by the Color Transfer theory,which means the inside data of the pseudo-digital images will be transferred in order to hide the secret data.Taking the digital video as the carrier and using the space redundancy of single frame image,this algorithm is of good robustness and capacity.The data hiding in components l,? and ? using Color Transfer theory and the energy weight can qualify the great imperceptibility,capacity and robustness.
