With the development of optical fiber communication industry,optical fiber communication toward large capacity,high speed,long distance trend.This is the optical fiber communication in a variety of technologies put forward higher requirements.In the case of replacing the transmission line,the advanced modulation format can effectively complete the upgrade iteration of the optical fiber communication system,so it is one of the hot research in the field of optical fiber communication.It is an important research topic to explore advanced modulation format with excellent performance.In many advanced modulation formats,IRZ modulation format has attracted wide attention because of its high spectral efficiency,large dispersion tolerance and excellent extinction ratio.In this paper,IRZ and IRZ-DPSK are studied to realize the modulation of these two signals.The simulation results show that they all have good transmission performance.And its work performance in-depth analysis.The study is as follows:(1)The generation methods and characteristics of the intensity modulation format and phase modulation format are discussed and analyzed.The performance of their anti-nonlinear ability and anti-dispersion ability were compared and studied.(2)A new IRZ modulation scheme is simulated,and its principle and demodulation principle are described in detail.The performance of the IRZ modulation scheme under different duty cycle,different transmission rate and different transmission distance is simulated.Finally,it analyzes and compares the binary code CSRZ which is better than the current performance.(3)In this paper,a new IRZ-DPSK modulation scheme is proposed,and its principle and demodulation principle are introduced particularly,and its performance under different duty cycle is studied.Finally,the transmission performance of CSRZ-DPSK is analyzed and compared.This signal has the advantage of adjusting duty cycle easily,while it has better transmission performance under the same transmission rate.
