Design Of A Novel OADM Based On Cascaded Phase Shifted Linearly Chirped Fiber Gratings

In the era of rapid development of optical communication network,due to the characteristics of low cost,polarization independent and low insertion loss,optical add drop multiplexer(OADM)has attracted great attention from the communication industry.This paper chooses cascaded phase shifted linear chirped fiber grating(Cascaded Phase Shifted Linearly Chirped Fiber Grating,CPSCFBG)and OADM as the key research and analysis,focused on analysis of the cascaded phase shifted linear chirped fiber grating and Maher had Del interferometer OADM,can download two wavelength channels on the last the fiber grating bidirectional tunable OADM based on a new structure.The main completed works are as follows:Through the MATLAB simulation software for cascaded phase shifted chirped fiber grating is analyzed numerically.The influence of several important parameters of the first chirped grating on the grating reflection spectrum,phase shift and then respectively through cascaded phase shifted linearly chirped grating,refractive index modulation,chirp,cascade are studied,and the numerical simulation.At the end of the cascaded phase shifted linearly chirped grating apodization optimization,and through the phase shifted fiber grating apodization function were compared and verified the apodization function to eliminate the sidelobe interference,the importance of sidelobe suppression effect.Two types of optical add drop multiplexers are designed.The first is the phase shifted fiber grating by Seoul and Maher interferometer based on OADM studied ofConcatenated and introduced respectively 2,3,4,5 phase shift point drop and output ends of the optical field distribution and power distribution,the type of OADM can be achieved with two wavelength channels in real time under load.The second is based on cascaded phase shifted chirped fiber grating and Maher's interferometer by OADM,we choose the appropriate apodization function of linear chirped fiber grating phase shift on the cascade optimization and put on Maher by Del arms,which can achieve the real-time multi wavelength download.
