With the rapid rise of the mobile Internet and Internet of things,user location based service has become the focus of attention in recent years.Locational information of intelligent mobile terminals plays a great role in promoting development of business,but until now there is no indoor localization system that can realize low energy for intelligent mobile terminals and enters commercialized stage on a large scale.Since bluetooth low energy(BLE)has the advantages of low power consumption and low latency,the indoor localization system based on BLE has wide application prospects.In this paper,we target at the indoor localization system based on BLE and carry out research on the localization algorithms and system construction.Our contributions are as follows:First,targeting at the problem that the weighted centroid localization(WCL)algorithm based on RSSI has central tendency and cannot meet the localization requirements for intelligent mobile terminals in edge areas,we proposed an improved WCL algorithm,i.e.,the localization algorithm based on clustering analysis of overlapping sector areas(LA-CAOSA).LA-CAOSA reduces the error of distance measurement by using the Gauss model,which eliminates the received RSSI with small probability.To reduce the error of localization,LACAOSA establishes sector overlapping clustering and classifying rules according to the distribution of RSSI in different regions and defines the distance correction coefficient and dynamic weighting factor to localize intelligent mobile terminals dynamically.Secondly,we carried out overall design and development of the indoor localization system based on BLE,wherein the overall design consists of function,framework,connection method,time sequence design.The system development consists of realization of base station nodes based on BLE software and hardware system,the client of the localization software based on Android and localization algorithm of the server.Finally,LA-CAOSA is combined with the developed indoor localization system based on BLE and experiments are carried out.Experimental results show that the localization system developed in this paper can effectively achieve the goal of positioning in practical applications.At the same time,the performance of LA-CAOSA is better than other algorithms in edge areas and can meet the requirements of indoor localization accuracy.
