Thanks to the rapid development of communication technology and integrated circuit technology, the Internet of Things(IoT)has also developed rapidly over the past decade. The emergence of new low-power wide-area networks and new communication protocols makes the Low Power Wide-Area Network a reality. This thesis is based on my six-month internship in team IRT of IRIT Blagnac. The subject of this internship is studying the protocols for the wireless sensor network especially for LoRa.The purpose of the internship is to study the underlying protocol of the sensor wireless network. The prerequisites for internships need to understand the actual technical and networking standards used for the Internet of Things. With the assistance of Dr.Adrien VAN den Bossche and Professor Thierry VAL,I have access to this article and information. The first step in the work,I studied the LoRa modulation. Then I learned the LoRaWAN specification and learned the LoRaWAN network communication protocol. After that I started using the Waspmote development component and the LoRa modulation module to start my last job to find the parameters that affect the rate of incoming transmission. This is useful for studying the MAC protocol of Mesh networks based on LoRa modulation techniques.
