Waterjet cutting equipment is use of ultra-high pressure on the water to form a very small water column for cold cutting machine.The waterjet cutting process does not produce thermal effects,will not change the chemical properties of raw materials,and is a clean cutting method,so the application of waterjet cutting is more and more widely.As the brain of a waterjet cutting equipment,the motion control system directly determines the speed and accuracy of the processing,so high-speed and high-precision waterjet cutting motion control system research is particularly important.In this paper,the waterjet cutting control system is researched and designed under the background about the development of the waterjet cutting equipment.The motion control system of waterjet cutting equipment is composed of two parts: PCI motion control card and upper software.This paper mainly designed a high-precision waterjet cutting control system,detailing the system board hardware design,FPGA logic design and the upper software design.PCI motion control card using FPGA as the master chip,based on FPGA to achieve a universal PCI bus interface,replacing the traditional use of dedicated chip design PCI communication interface,and it can improve system integration,reduce system cost;Aiming at the characteristics of the encoder signal,a quadruple frequency high precision encoder counting module with anti signal jitter and interference is designed on the FPGA,which can accurately adjust the position of the cutting head of the device;In order to reduce the impact of equipment and vibration,to extend the service life of equipment,designed S curve acceleration and deceleration algorithm modulation pulse output module,effectively avoid the waterjet cutting head emergency stop urgent;By optimizing the point-by-point comparison of linear interpolation and circular interpolation algorithm to achieve high-speed waterjet and high-precision cutting,making the interpolation steps less interpolation faster,interpolation accuracy of up toħ0.5 pulses,while effectively reducing the consumption of FPGA logic resources.The upper part of the software is based on the MFC framework design of the waterjetcutting control program,before the waterjet cutting,user design good cutting items and save the DXF file in the Auto CAD software,load the file to the software then directly control the equipment to complete the water knife automatic cutting.In the processing of small arcs,the software will decelerate automatically according to the radius of the arc,which will improve the machining precision.In the process of returning to the machine,the high and low speed return zero mode can be set to improve the mechanical return zero efficiency and zero precision.Finally,the motion control system designed in this paper combines the waterjet cutting equipment of the cooperative enterprise,and makes various kinds of cutting test for the tiles.The experimental results show that the design of waterjet cutting control system has the advantages of high precision and fast speed,and the precision of cutting workpiece is less than 0.1mm,which fully meets the requirements of industrial products.
