Design And Development Of VXLAN Test System Based On CAS Cloud Platform

With the rapid development of cloud services,cloud computing has become the first choice for enterprise data center.However,the traditional data center can not meet the requirements of cloud computing for large-scale virtualization deployment and large scale tenant isolation.VXLAN technology is spawned by the requirements of the data center for multi-tenancy isolation technology.It is used to realize the isolation between 16 million virtual networks,and solve some problems of free migration of virtual machine and MAC Table insufficient access switch at the same time.VXLAN based on CAS platform has the characteristics of low business and easy management and itdoes not need to rely on SDN controller and cloud management platform.It can not only solves the problem of the virtual machine migration across the data center,but also greatly reduces the cost of building a network of two layers.in this case,VXLAN solution is introduced to simplify the actual deployment of VXLAN and to help customers to constructa computing and network virtualization management platformwith the actual application requirements.In this article,a VXLAN software testing system is designed and developed according to the requirement of VXLAN function test.Firstly,by analyzing the present situation of VXLAN network technology at home and abroad,the advantages and disadvantages of different schemes are analyzed;Secondly,the basic principles and related technologies of VXLAN implementation are presented.the VXLAN function implementation is analyzed in details according to the message forwarding process design and the basic function realization.The design of packet forwarding process includes unicast and broadcast forwarding process design.Basic functions include VXLAN tunnel building,MAC address learning,VXLAN ID configuration and head end replication technology;Based on the realization of VXLAN function,the software testing system requirement is analyzed in detail.The software testing framework is determined and the test requirements are divided into characteristic requirements,combination requirements and application requirements.VXLAN test system is designed based on the basic knowledge of software testing and the VXLAN function.The software testing strategy and testing focus are described in detail,and the test network and test cases covering all functions are designed.Automatic testing is introduced to basic function testing in order to improve testing quality and efficiency;Finally,the software testing system is tested.according to the test of networking and automation network,basic test environment and automatic test environment are set up.All function test is compeleted beased on test cases.The functional problems,performance issues,and automated test problems are tested and verified,and their causes are analyzed in detail and the improving scheme is put forward.Based on the test results of VXLAN test system,the function and performance of VXLAN network based on CAS cloud platform meet the actual requirements,and VXLAN software testing system can meet practical engineering needs.the VXLAN network function will also become indispensable functional modules of virtualization products in future.
