In the real life,wire rope is widely used and its operation is related to the safety of the staff and equipment.The research of the wire rope testing equipment and the application of the wireless communication technology to the actual detection can help solve the various problems of the wire rope on-line detection.This has a high economic and social value.In this paper,the design of wire rope detection system based on wireless sensor network is completed by using the theory and technology of magnetic flux leakage detection.First,the knowledge of magnetic flux leakage detection technology of the wire rope is analyzed.The leakage magnetic field of the typical defect signal of the wire rope is modeled and simulated in MATLAB environment.The influence of the width of the broken wire and the height of the sensor on the horizontal and vertical components of the leakage magnetic field are analyzed.Second,the design of wire rope testing scheme is studied,including the analysis of excitation circuit,the design of excitation device and the design of detection sensor.Various short-range wireless communication technologies are analyzed.WIFI technology is chosen as the wireless communication mode.The design of the wireless communication system and wireless gateway selection is completed.Finally wireless transmission of the collected signal is achieved.The experimental platform of wire rope failure nondestructive testing is built.These provide experimental basis for the wire rope defect signal detection.Thirdly,the wavelet denoising method of wire rope fault diagnosis is studied and the defect signal is denoised.The RBF neural network model of broken wire is established by radial basis function neural network theory,and the quantitative identification of broken wire damage is carried out.Fourthly,a non-destructive testing software for wire rope fault is developed based on LABVIEW and MATLAB software platform.The design work of wireless data acquisition program and data processing program are completed.Finally,a validation experiment is conducted.The feasibility and practicabilityof the wire rope detection system based on wireless sensor network are verified by wireless communication network test experiment,wire rope testing experiment and data analysis.
