Wire rope is widely used in industrial fields with its own good feature.There will be scratches,broken wire,corrosion and wire rope is usually used in elevators and crane equipment.In order to ensure safety,wire rope needs regularly detection and estimation.After the summary of domestic and foreign wire rope fault detection technology,the paper studies the fault diagnosis system of steel wire rope based on the magnetic flux leakage detection.The main work is as follows.Firstly,according to the damage characteristics of wire rope,the magnetic dipole mathematical model is used to analyze the distribution of the leakage field,and the radial leakage magnetic field of the wire rope is decided to study the failure of the wire rope.Secondly,a complete set of wire rope fault detection experiment system is designed.Including the design of excitation device,the design of experiment platform,and data acquisition system based on Labview.There is a large number of noise in the wire rope magnetic signal,relying on a simple circuit design can not achieve the purpose of noise reduction.According to the characteristics of the fault signal,the wavelet transform is used to denoise the fault signal and achieve the expected result.Finally,experimental analysis has been done for the whole experiment system,including the broken wires,wear,sampling rate,speed and so on.And the paper extracts the characteristic value of the wire leakage signal and makes a network training library.The BP neural network algorithm is used to train the network,and the quantitative identification of the wire rope fault signal is realized.
