The issue comes from the actual research-Harbin Science and Technology InnovationFunding: The Design of Intelligent detector for inner defect of city gas pipeline.It is a great realistic significance of the pipelines’ normal working for national economyand our living.For the man-made and inevitable reasons, some inner defect exist in manypipelies,and bring potential safety hazards. Magnetic flux leakage(MFL) of pipelinenon-destructive detecting(NDT) inspection is a kind of safe method for pipeline detecting.It isnot only an additional method besides the traditional and single method of pipeline detecting-excavation and sampling inspection,but also a great way for ameliorating the accuracy of theresult of the pipeline detecting.Nondestructive testing of pipeline defect robots are the effective application in the fieldof pipeline detecting.The design of intelligent inspection robot for inner defect of pipeline hasrelationship with electronics, computer, information processing, pattern recognition, detection,pipeline and other fields. Currently, there are many ways for pipeline non-destructivedetecting(NDT), magnetic flux leakage(MFL) inspection method of pipeline defect is usedwidely, so the subject came into being.The main task of this article was establishing laboratory environmental pipeline model,technology of the pipeline inner defect detector was researched, and defect detection and datacollection circuit were designed, intelligent method of extraction defects was researched.Firstly, background, history and development status of domestic and international wereintroduced.Secondly the principle of magnetic flux leakage detecting wereanalyzed.Description of the basic principles of pipeline inspection and two theoreticalmethods of analysis of leakage magnetic field wsa given, namely, the magnetic dipole modeland finite element method were discussed, and then the finite element method for theoryanalysis of pipeline magnetic flux leakage detection was determined.Thirdly, the finiteelement method and its application for pipeline defect detection based on magnetic fluxleakage was given. a simple presentation and analysis for the finite element software wereintroduced, and then the construction of magnetic flux leakage defect model based on finiteelement method was studied, the results and data were obtained.Then, the design of magneticflux leakage detection system in pipeline based on51MCU were introduced, including thedata measurement,storage,transmission and other hardware circuit design, and then processingfor magnetic flux leakage detector in the pipeline was analyzed.At last, the method research for extraction of pipeline defects’characters was given. Firstly, the immune RBF neuralnetwork was established, and then the simulating results of the characters extracting based onImuune RBF Nettwork and RBF network were compared. At last, the results were analyzed.Though the analyzing of the result in experiment,it can be seen that:to compare with theRBF neural network by gradient method, the immune RBF neural network is better in rate ofconvergence and precision,and it can meet the require of the subject.At the same time,thearticle pointed out the insufficiency,and guided the next research direction.The topic is a significant exploration and actual value for studying of magnetic fluxleakage detection method to the pipeline inner defect in the laboratory environment.
