The numerical control system is the foundation of the modern manufacturing industry,its development degree can reflect a country's science and technology level.And the development of the numerical control system in the servo control technology is the key to improve the performance of numerical control system.So it is very important to study high performance servo control technology.In recent years,our country has made some progress in the research of servo system,but,the performance of the system also has very large development space.The permanent magnet synchronous motor system adopting FPGA has good performance.FPGA has strong superiority,showing as the short design cycle,good transferability,flexible control unit interface and faster computation speed.Moreover,FPGA overcomes other chips' shortcoming of long development cycle and is more practical and easy to use.The control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor based on FPGA is researched deeply in this paper.Firstly,the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor is analyzed.The vector control principles is introduced.The transformation principle and PWM inverter principle are coordinated.And on the basis,the mathematical models of motor in different coordinate systems are drives,at the same time,electric-current-loop&speed-loop controllers are designed.And a simulation of the permanent magnet synchronous motor system is offered.The result of simulation verifies the correctness of controller is designed well.In addition,some module is designed in the system with FPGA.The realization method of some FPGA modules in the system is introduced,focusing on SVPWM generation module,M/T speed measurement module,coordination transformation module,PI regulative module,etc.,Corresponding IP core schematic diagram,pin elucidation,building-block of logic and simulation analysis results are given.The simulation results are accuracy and meet expected design.The experimental platform of permanent magnet synchronous motor control system is built with the types of FPGA and AD chip selected,modules designed,such as AD sampling circuit,over-current protection circuit,voltage transformation module,buffer module and output protection module.Finally an experimental analysis is made on this system.Experiment results show the system has good performance.
