Examination marking is a basic task for educators.It is not only a test in learning results of students,but also one of main methods of measuring teaching quality of teachers.Previously,the manual marking method was mainly adopted,which not only brought heavy work for teachers,but also could not guarantee the marking quality.To improve marking speed and efficiency,machine marking was adopted in senior high school entrance examination and college entrance examination due to the filling mode of objective questions in answer sheets.Then,some schools started replacing manual marking with an optical mark reader.However,as the optical mark reader is expensive and special answer sheets are needed and the marking site can not be changed,the application of the optical mark reader is limited.With popularization of Android smart phones,more and more people get used to using phones to bring convenience for life and study.Its high-performance hardware configuration,especially the configuration in camera shooting area makes it possible to form a marking system based on the camera of an Android phone.The paper analyzes the actual demands of school marking.On the basis of referring to the mature domestic PC automatic marking system,the paper designs and completes the phone marking system based on Android platform.Taking the camera of the Android phone as image input device,the system inputs the answer sheet in the phone procedure in the form of images and then gets related image features through processing and analysis of images and finally judges the answer sheet and gets the scores.The marking system is composed of three parts: standard answer inputting module,answer sheet reading module and marking result output module.In the standard answer inputting module,the system locates the dots in the answer sheet accurately by increasing the dot information and designing and adopting the method of module matching,which lays foundation for seeking out answer zones in the sheet and solves the most confusing problem-answer positioning in marking system.In the answer sheet reading module,the system completes picture taking,graying,binaryzation and other series of operations,designs and completes perspective transformation of sheet pictures after binaryzation and converts the answer sheet dimension to the dimension of standard answers for further answer identification.In the marking result output module,the system gets thescores of students by comparing the identified dot information of standard answers with that of student's answer sheet and then outputs the marking result in the window.The practice proves that this marking method is easy,simple,cheap,accurate and portable.At the same time,it only takes 2 to 3 seconds in scoring,which greatly enhances the marking efficiency and is of high application value.
