In recent years,physical-layer network coding(PNC),which forms from network coding technology applied to the physical-layer,has gradually become a research hotspot.Physical-layer network coding can effectively eliminate the mutual interference between the signals in the wireless communication network,by using the superposition principle of electromagnetic wave signal.Modulation modes based on physical-layer network coding select continuous phase modulation(CPM),which as a kind of common nonlinear modulation mode,compared to the linear modulation mode,has the advantages of higher spectrum efficiency.The existing CPM-PNC detection algorithms are only limited to the full response CPM(FR-CPM)signals.Since the partial response CPM(PR-CPM)shows the advantage of higher spectrum efficiency compared with the FR-CPM,the detection of PR-CPM based on PNC is of interests.Firstly,this paper studies the non-coherent multiple-symbol detection algorithm respectively based on FR-CPM and PR-CPM signals for the point-to-point system,and gives the simulation results and analysis of two signals.To tackle the deficiencies of low throughput and large information transmission among nodes in the point-to-point system,a FR-CPM non-coherent multiple-symbol detection algorithm in PNC is proposed.But FR-CPM is not the best green modulation mode,PR-CPM compared to FR-CPM,has the advantage of higher spectral efficiency and power efficiency.At the same time,The PR-CPM signals can be represented by Laurent decomposition,which reduces the number of matched filters at the non-coherent receiver.Therefore,a non-coherent multiple-symbol detection algorithm for PR-CPM-PNC based on Laurent decomposition is proposed.When the pulse shape is rectangular,there is a phase ambiguity in the detection process.Because of the low detection efficiency of the proposed non-coherent multiple-symbol detection algorithm,the PR-CPM-PNC traditional block detection algorithm is proposed.The proposed algorithm improves the detection efficiency through sacrificing the detection performance.Therefore,a non-coherent optimal block detection algorithm based on PR-CPM-PNC is proposed.This algorithm not only effectively improves the detection performance compared with the traditional block detection algorithm,but also improves the detection efficiency compared with the multiple-symbol detection algorithm.
