With the rapid development of optical fiber communication technology,optical network can provide users with fast and high quality service.With the increase in the number of users as well as the total amount of business,the number of failures also increased significantly,even a short period of time in the service interruption,may lead to disastrous consequences.Therefore,how to improve the ability of optical network to deal with the failure and minimize the loss of the service,make the research of survivability become a very important research content in the development of optical network.The paper focuses on the key techniques of link protection,node protection,gives the theoretical basis of link and node selection of the highest priority for the protection of the topological structure,and provide a theoretical basis for system simulation;link deletion method based on priority selection in the topological structure of the highest link sharing features two protection protection through the analysis of the 1+1 protection and combination the characteristics of the two kinds of protection design,cross type protection scheme in Mesh network;group algorithm based on priority judgment protection of different nodes in the topology structure.According to the priority of protection,this paper discusses the change of the survivability of the network system with different number of nodes with wavelength conversion function.To construct the network topology using OPNET Modeler software,through the simulation of cross protection improvement on the survival parameters,and study the different node blocking rate effects on optical network with wavelength conversion capability.The simulation results show that the design of cross protection protection and sharing based on1+1,to keep the Mesh sharing network with low redundancy and low blocking rate advantages,in the protection of the rate of recovery and recovery time compared with Mesh network is greatly improved;when the highest priority node protection optical network topology with wavelength conversion function when the full wavelength conversion function of the network to achieve more than contrast networks without wavelength conversion has obvious improvement in the blocking rate,and the protection of the highest priority node has a wavelength conversion function,compared to the lower priority nodes to enhance system performance is the most obvious.
