According to the change of the surrounding environment,if the modern radar can adaptively adjust the emission waveform and continue to obtain information in the interaction with the target environment,specific targets can be measured effectively,reliably and stably,then the performance of radar can be improved comprehensively,and radar will adapt to the increasingly complex battlefield environment.Among them,how to choose the emission waveform is one of the research hotspots.Based on this,this paper studies how to realize the adaptive selection of waveform in the tracking system.This paper presents the adaptive waveform selection methods for tracking systems with / without clutter environment,which provides a theoretical basis for further improving the radar detection and tracking performance.The research work of this paper is as follows:1?The paper first studied the adaptive waveform selection problem without clutter environment,based on Kalman filter algorithm.According to the target of different motion state,particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to design adaptively tracking waveform pulse width and frequency slope.The influence of waveform parameter selection on measurement error and tracking accuracy is analyzed from the experimental aspects.The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.2 ? By analyzing the relationship between radar pulse width and tracking performance,the radar signal parameters are controlled.The waveform selection criteria and the waveform adaptive selection algorithm based on interactive multiple model(IMM)are given.According to the target motion,the pulse width of the transmitted signal is measured at the next time,and the target tracking performance is improved.The simulation proves the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.3?The adaptive waveform selection problem in clutter environment is analyzed,based on the interactive multi-model data association(IMMPDA).A waveform adaptive selection method is proposed,which improves the waveform selection by two different waveform selection criteria.The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified by the simulations of the target tracking performance under the clutter conditions.
