Design And Implementation Of Campus Wireless Network Management System

In recent years,there has been a rapid growth in the adoption and usage of Wi-Fi enabled networked devices in the campus such as laptops,handheld device and wireless entertainment devices[1].Based on the design and implementation of wireless network management system in a university,this thesis introduces the main process of WLAN wireless network management system from planning,design to implementation and the final operation management and optimization.In this thesis,the system architecture and function module and the design of the database are analyzed,which are based on the practical situation of wireless network maintenance and management.System based on the thin AP architecture of the university wireless LAN development.Based on SNMP protocol and MIB management information[2],the thesis introduces the core module of the system: the performance of data acquisition,the wireless network equipment and resources management and monitoring,the wireless network alarm,basic principle and function of three main modules.After introducing the system configuration and basic environment configuration,the author has carried on the running test to the system.The corresponding solution is put forward for many problems found during the operation and maintenance management.The system has been successfully deployed in Colleges and universities,and put into use,greatly reducing the workload of network management on campus wireless network management.
