With the wide use of high performance computing application,the requirement for the performance of the network constant increases greatly and the importance of the related research of high performance technology becomes obvious.How to improve the network data transmission capacity within the limited scale is the bottleneck of network performance.As one of the main reasons affecting the network data transmission,congestion control has become a research focus in the high performance network field.The existing congestion control protocol can be classified into two categories: the one based on the feedback and the other based on booking.Due to the high requirement of timeliness and integrity for data in high performance network,traditional congestion control protocols have apparent shortages and can't meet the requirement of high performance network.So it is the keypoint to design a kind of easily-implemented and quickly-reacting global congestion control protocol,which aims at the large data amount,high timeliness requirement and low error-tolerance capability,to improve the high performance network.To solve the problem,our research work concentrates on the following four aspects:1.We throughly study the present research situation of high performance network and congestion control protocol and summarizes the previous work of congestion control strategy.Faced with challenges brought by features of high performance network data transmission and difficulty of corresponding congestion control protocol design,we analyze and conclude the congestion avoidance protocol for similar applications,which lays the foundation for the design of high performance network efficient protocol.2.According to the analysis results of high-performance network congestion avoidance protocols,we propose the method of combining original network with SDN architecture.With special control network collecting the data network information and centralized controller uniform disposal,we solve the problem of collecting information for original network.3.Targeted at the problem of long booking period-length of original congestion avoidance protocol,we propose a new congestion avoidance protocol OSCP,based on the SDN framework and overall information.This protocol collects the overall information of network and centralized controller will dispose the transmission requests,which reduces the time of congestion avoidance protocol booking and improve the efficiency.The performance analysis result using BookSim simulator shows that OSCP can effectively reduce the network latency and improve throughput.4.In order to further reduce the network congestion and improve network performance,we improve the latest congestion avoidance protocol based on contention mechanism and propose a congestion avoidance protocol using overall contention information.The protocol predictively analyzes the possible transmission in the network and the local network node contention together with the nodes on the same path.Experiments result shows that compared with the original method,our work further improves the performance.To sum up,the paper focuses on the target "high performance network congestion avoidance protocol design" and optimize the congestion avoidance protocol based on the analysis of the high performance network features.Combined with other advanced congestion avoidance technology,the network performance is further improved.This paper has solved some practical problems in high performance network and has considerable value on both engineering and theoretical.
