Coupled with integrated circuit globle trend,Integerated Circuit is under serious threaten of malicious attack during design and manufacture.As a newly-developing attacking method,Hardware Trojan(HT)has a wide attack range and great damage,and causes a great threaten to IC safety.This paper proposes a nolinear hardware trojan power detection method based on kernel function.This paper firstly introduces Hardware Trojan and FPGA related background and analyze its security issues.After that,faced with the HTs inserted during FPGA development,it states HT theaten model,circuit structure and implanting approaches.Also it porposes HT defending means at different levels.In addition,this paper analyzes linear detection methods of HT power consumption.Those methods have some shortages such as affected greatly by noise,feature extracion not obvious.Based on above analysis,this paper puts forward HT power nonlinear detection method,which makes HT power features more clear with kernel functions and detects Trojans in data nonlinear space.Though verification of simulated power in Sbox,it's found that nonlinear algorithm is affected lightly by noise and can extract feature more effectively.To the question that there is no practical HT detection platform,this paper sets up Hardware Trojan detection system with detecting algorithms and chip power collecting platform.The system can detect HTs in ASIC and FPGA and verify detect algorithms with measuring power,which can improve the effectiveness and reliability of trojan dection.The system has laid a foundation for practical HT detection.Finally,we design and realize AES circuit in FPGA,and insert Hardware Trojans designed based on Trusthub HT library.Then we detect those trojans with above system.Experiment results show that compared with linear methods,nolinear method has a better robustness against noise and a better detection precision of 0.5%circuit scale.
