In recent years, the demand for mobile Internet is growing rapidly.Services like HD online video, real time gaming and high speed download needs high speed and low latency network path.As a mainstream network standard,LTE network can satisfy the demand of high speed service of the network user.At the same time, the wireless network energy consumption problem has become increasingly prominent. The base station,as part of the access network, consumes most of the energy of the wireless network. The user terminal quickly consumes energy during high-speed data processing. Therefore, the base station and terminal energy saving has become an important research topic. To improve of the energy consumption coursed by over-supply resources,a traffic-aware energy efficient resource allocation scheme has been proposed to optimize the PRB allocation process of LTE eNode. The time and number of sending packets of each flow with different quality of service has been optimized to improve the efficiency of resource.Meanwhile, the proposed scheme adapt traffic with different parameters and can achieve better tradeoff between energy efficiency and performance. The simulation results show that this scheme can achieve similar throughput to other algorithms with fewer resources when the traffic load is less than 40%.To improve the energy efficiency of device,an energy factor adaptive algorithm for discontinuous reception(DRX)mechanism has been proposed. This algorithm can select the appropriate parameters from the parameter space to match the energy factor through efficient calculations. It can avoid the overhead of searching the parameter space. In standard DRX scheme, the energy factor will change with the traffic rate. This algorithm can also improve the situation. The simulation results show that this algorithm can achieve similar average delay and packet loss rate to standard DRX scheme while maintaing the energy factor within the specified range.
