Under The Background Of Triple Play Radio And Television Networks Company Development Strategy Research Of Qinhuangdao

There has been more than 600,000 cable subscribers watching hundreds of digital TV programs and a dozen sets of HD television programs transmitted by Qinhuangdao Radio and Television Network Company(QRTNC).As a stated-owned cultural enterprise,QRTNC mainly deals with local cable TV network planning,construction,operation,management,maintenance services,etc.,and constantly opens up broadband radio and television and value-added services.With the continuous development of the "triple play",our competitors,such as China Mobile,China Unicom,China Telecom will continue to carry out radio and television business,therefore,the company is facing unprecedented challenges and threats since the traditional style of management failed to adjust to the new situation.This paper studies company’s strategic development aiming to promote the company’s sustained and healthy development.This paper reviews the theory of triple play and the strategic management at home and abraod first,then the history of Qinhuangdao radio and television net-work company and the present situation are introduced;the key issue in the paper lies in the problem existing in current development strategy of QRTNC.Combined with the cable television industry analysis,by development of the cable TV industry technology,policy environment,income composition prediction,this paper clarifies the development prospects of the industry,and carries on the analysis comparison with it’s environment and national policies in order to lay a foundation for QRTNC.Adopting PEST and SWOT analysis,the current situation is analyzed in detail;then according to the SWOT analysis,it discusses the advantages/disadvantages and the opportunities and threats of Qinhuangdao cable in order to construct the coming five-year plan.Finally,according to the development strategy of the next 5 years and in order to ensure the effective implementation of the strategy,the product strategy and marketing strategy are designed,and the guarantee measures for the implementation of the development strategy are put forward.
