In remote sensing detection,it has important research significance to detect the disguised targets from complex background effectively.Imaging is the main information acquisition method for target detection.The traditional target detection method is to analyze the visible light image of the detection area to find out the disguised target.However,because of the environmental impact and the small amount of information,the single intensity imaging has many limitations.And polarization spectrum imaging technology can obtain the polarization,spectrum,space and other information of the measured object at the same time,it has become a new research direction in the field of target detection.In order to improve the identification of target detection,this paper studies the target detection technology which based on polarization spectrum imaging.On the basis of fully studying polarization spectral imaging theory,a multi spectral,time division modulated full polarization imaging system with simple structure,low cost and easy integration is constructed.The system uses liquid crystal variable retarder(LCVR)instead of the traditional motor driven rotating wave plate which has ?/4 phase shift and combines the liquid crystal tunable filter(LCTF)to tune the spectral band.It can quickly realize the full polarization modulation in the visible and near infrared wave band to the incident light,to complete polarimetric imaging detection of targets.This paper focuses on the detection mechanism of time division modulated polarization imaging,it presents the overall design scheme of polarization spectrum imaging target detection system and carries out the corresponding hardware circuit design and software design in three aspects of optical polarization modulation unit,image acquisition and transmission unit,image processing software platform.Through indoor target imaging detection experiment,it realizes automatic acquisition of target polarization spectrum image.In the experimental part,this paper carries on the calibration experiment to the selected polarized light modulators,it gives the calibration method of LCVR's phase retardation and calibrates the polarization direction of the electronically controlled rotating polarizer by means of extinction.Finally,the polarization imaging experiment and the target spectrum characteristic detection experiment are completed by using the designed polarization spectrum imaging system,and the experimental results show that the polarization spectrum imaging system can effectively improve the target identification,and highlight the texture characteristics of the target surface.
