In recent years,multi-junction solar cell technology has been developed and widely used in aerospace and other fields.Through the solar simulator on the solar cell calibration on the ground couldn't truly reflect the battery performance,so the space AMO(air quality 0)standard calibration battery performance is indeed.This paper summarizes the high-altitude solar cell calibration and solar tracking technology at home and abroad,and considers the high-altitude complex environment and balloon movement,and deeply studies the high-precision solar tracking control system with high altitude balloon.Firstly,the research significance of the high-altitude solar cell calibration system is introduced.The research status of the solar tracking control system,the solar tracking mechanism and its control methods are reviewed.The overall scheme of the high-altitude balloon solar cell calibration system is presented,and the solar tracking control system design requirement is studied,based on which this paper develops a new dual-axis solar tracking control mechanism.Secondly,this paper carries out the modeling,control algorithm and simulation verification experiment of the solar tracking system.The mathematical models of two-phase hybrid stepping motor,digital stepping motor driver,deceleration mechanism and tracking control platform are established respectively.Based on the characteristics of high altitude balloon,the control algorithm of solar tracking system is proposed,and the PD sliding mode control(PD-SMC)is designed.The simulation examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the theoretical results.Thirdly,the sun tracking controller is designed for the high-altitude balloon operating environment characteristics.The hardware part of the controller includes the design of the solar sensor,the controller hardware circuit,the hardware reliability,the controller interface and the connection.The software part includes the software function requirement,the controller search tracking strategy and the software reliability design.It is possible to control the dual-axis solar tracking mechanism according to the solar sensor data based on sun tracking controller,what's more,the system can achieve wide range search,fast tracking and quick recovery.Finally,a ground testing for the sun tracking control system is indeed,which includes the sun sensor tracking and debugging,ground fixed position tracking test,simulated balloon tracking test and environmental simulation test.According to the experimental phenomena and data analysis,the design of the high-altitude solar tracking control system can meet the actual requirements.To ensure the reliability of the system,it's significant to test the effectiveness of the ground mobile sun tracking and high-altitude adjustment.
