With the rapid development of computer science,image processing,photoelectric technology,pattern recognition technology and theory,practical research and application of robot vision have been getting more and more concern,and has made preliminary achievements in many fields.The application of welding robot in industrial production is mainly the lack of adaptability,and stability of the operating conditions of the strict requirements,and welding robot is a complex process there are all kinds of interference factors determined,so the research of automatic welding technology is of great significance to improve the welding robot automation and intelligent level based on vision sensor.At home and abroad have also been a lot of research and Practice on robot visual guidance,the weld visual simple geometry guide,but the study on recognition of complex graphics has not achieved great progress,for complex pattern recognition for robot automatic welding level is an important step forward,is of great significance.At present,there are a lot of research and practice on the visual guidance of robots at home and abroad,and have realized the visual guidance of simple geometrical shapes.However,the research on the recognition of complex graphics has not made much progress.The recognition of complex graphics is a great step forward for the robot's automatic welding level.This paper designs a robot automatic welding system which can identify the workpiece by machine vision,introduces the framework of the system,completes the overall design of the system,selects the hardware system in the system,and completes the system The software programming,to achieve the system of automatic identification guide welding.The basic working principle of the system is: the camera collects the workpiece image,the data is transmitted to the computer,the computer prepares the workpiece image first,and then the computer image recognition algorithm processing,calculates the weld coordinates,the data is transmitted to the robot,the robot guidance coordinates for welding operations according to the computer derived.In this paper,a method of recognizing the complex geometric shapes is proposed.After the image is obtained by the camera,the center line is obtained by image preprocessing,binarization,Hough transform,straight line fitting and straight line selection.Line intersection to achieve the workpiece to achieve the exact points of the precise access.Due to the deformation of the welding process,the welding sequence of the welding complex has a great influence on the welding quality.This paper creatively proposes a visual recognition and guidance method for the complex workpiece combined with the robot teaching,which not only achieves The visual recognition of the complex parts of the plane,but also to achieve the workpiece of the specific welding process,to achieve the plane of the workpiece automation welding.The system is easy to operate and the workers can be trained in a short period of time,in order to achieve industrialization.
