With the continuous development of computer technology and Internet technology, allkinds of industries are undergoing profound changes, and the construction of informatization has become the inevitable trend of social development. For promoting the development of Internet technology, and building the Internet industry chain, the relevant state ministries issued a number of policies and measures to promote the development of Internet technology,and required to carry out the key techniques of Internet of things and to demonstrate the application area. State grid corporation actively responded to an appeal by the state, carry out in the field of grid area of "Internet of things application demonstration project", to promote the Internet of things in the smart grid, and to promote development of the internet of things.Therefore, it is necessary to develop a set of unified application system for smart grid, which is compliance, powerful, stable, reliable, and extensible highly.Through summarizing the present situation of unified application system for smart grid development and modern network information technology background, for resolving the problems such as single function, poor scalability, and data processing capacity weakly and so on, the unified application system for smart grid has been designed and implemented based on C/S architecture and conformed to the national standard. Secondly, the overall architecture of the whole system design has been carried on. And the whole business process has been clearly described through hierarchical model of system with the general software engineering modeling language UML. Then, the system is analyzed in detail, respectively from Substation intelligent management, power distribution line condition monitoring and early warning,green room management and basic configuration management. Finally, in order to guarantee the stability of the system, the realization of each system module has been fully tested.Using the computer technology, the unified application system for smart grid has been designed and implemented based on Oracle database. In order to guarantee the security and stability of the system, and meet the demand of electric power business, the specification of software testing method is used for comprehensive system test. The practical use shows that the system improves the work efficiency effectively, and the standardization of the business operations has ensured the data security and the stability of the operation. The system provides managements with a strong platform for the decision analysis, and implements the basic requirements of template system.
