With the rapid development of Internet technology and application, traditional Internet based on TCP/IP network architecture faced with unprecedented challenges. Information-Centric Networking(ICN) is widely regarded as the design specifications of Future Internet, Named Data Networking(NDN) is one of the most representative infrastructures, which is widely researched. At present, there are many challenges for NDN, and the data forwarding efficiency is one of the key issues. This thesis introduces the Name Label Switching(NLS) domain in NDN, and NLS is proposed to improve the efficiency of data forwarding plane. This thesis relies on xxx special fund, the NLS is considered as research background, Name Label Distributed Protocol(NLDP) in NDN is researched and developed. The dynamical establishment of Label switching path implement labeled packets' forwarding in NLS. The main work of this thesis is as follows:Firstly, on the basis of theoretical research, the simulation of NLS domains is realized. NLS domain includes two kinds of nodes: edge node and core node. The functions of edge node are adding/removing label for packets and caching; the core node can implement the label switching and forwarding packets.Secondly, the outline design of NLDP is proposed, which includes ten sub-modules, such as routing module, timer module, codec module, discovery module, advertisement module, notification module, session module, data forwarding module, interface module, and entry module. The data forwarding module implements the NLS domain of the static configuration label switching path. Finally, the NS-3 software module is extended to simulate the implementation of NLDP and NLS domain. The thesis develops Wireshark plug-in for parsing NLDP, evaluate NLDP and compare the performance of NLS and NDN, capture NLDP message with Wireshark, verify the correctness of the NLDP message process and the stability of the NLDP, and compare the processing time of the NDN and NLS. The simulation results show that the response time of the data packet is reduced by about 37% when using NLS, and the processing time of NLSR is about 30% of NDN.
