Yellow River Estuary is located in the Bohai Sea and Laizhou Bay Interchange, has a rich natural resources. As the Yellow River to carry large amounts of sediment into the sea, so that the waters suspended sediment concentration greatly increased. The distribution and diffusion of suspended sediment have great influence on water environment monitoring, quality research and water pollution prediction and control in this area. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to monitor the suspended sediment concentration in this area.At present, water color remote sensing technology is an important method for monitoring the concentration of suspended solids in marine water bodies, with a wide range, high efficiency and other advantages. Using remote sensing technology to obtain information on the concentration distribution of suspended solids in water is an important research content of water color remote sensing in recent years. Based on a large number of domestic and foreign scholars, two types of remote sensing inversion model-empirical model and semi-analytical model are proposed. In this paper, taking the Yellow River Mouth as an example, using remote sensing reflectance data and suspended sediment concentration data of the field observation, this paper presents a new method for analyzing the concentration of suspended sediment in the Landsat 8OLI sensor, which can be used to analyze the suspended sediment concentration. The QAA method was used to establish the semi-analytical model of suspended sediment concentration. Finally, the data were compared with each other to determine the best inversion model of suspended sediment concentration.First of all, the domestic and international remote sensing technology is analyzed, and the problems of suspended sediment in the Yellow River estuary are pointed out. On this basis, the main contents and methods of the research and the significance of the study are put forward. Then the theory of water color remote sensing radiation transmission is described. The correlation and formula expression of apparent optical quantity and intrinsic optical quantity of natural water body in measurement and analysis are introduced emphatically. Then the spectral data of 51 aerial sites and 3 fixed observation stations and 89 sets of suspended sediment water samples collected in this experiment were used to calculate the spectral reflectance of remote sensing by using water color remote sensing technology and to analyze the suspended sediment concentration. At the same time, the sensitivity band was set up by spectral data provided by US satellite Landsat8 OLI, and the empirical model of suspended sediment concentration was established by the correlation between spectral reflectance and suspended sediment concentration. The empirical correlation model of suspended sediment concentrationwas established,, Select the best empirical model under a specific sensitive band. Then, the QAA method is used to calculate the suspended light quantity, and the semi- analytical model of suspended sediment concentration is established. Under the same sensitive band condition, the best empirical model is established. Finally, under the same sensitive band condition, the correlation and error analysis test of the two types of experimental data are integrated. It is concluded that the semi-analytical model of sediment concentration based on QAA is more accurate and effective.
