Sleep is one of the most important physiological activities in one's life.It takes about 1/3 of one's life.Good sleep can ensure that the human body has good physical and mental health.However,in recent years,more and more people are suffering from insomnia due to the pressure in work,study and life and need of healing.The premise of the treatment of insomnia is to monitor the quality of sleep,and then make a diagnosis based on the quality of sleep.In sleep monitoring,the most commonly used device is polysomnography(PSG).It has powerful function and high monitoring accuracy,but it has the problem of high cost,large size and uncomfortable wearing.It is not suitable for use at home.Based on this view,this paper designs a kind of home sleep monitoring system,which only needs to collect one channel EEG and EOG,can be used to monitor the sleep state in real time and divide sleep into different periods.The system is divided into three parts: the front-end acquisition,the DSP processing end and the host computer processing end.The front-end acquisition is based on MSP430 and ADS1299.Its main job is to collect EEG and EOG signal and convert them into digital signals.Then,the digital signals are sent to the DSP processing end.The DSP processing end is based on TMS320F28335 digital signal processor.Its main job is to receive the signals from the front-end acquisition,process and analyze EEG signal and divide the sleep stage into two states: awake and sleep based on the frequency domain characteristics of EEG.In addition,the DSP processing end integrates an SD card and can save EEG and EOG signal permanently.The host computer processing end is based on MATLAB.Firstly,read the signals from the SD card and use wavelet decomposition and wavelet soft threshold to filter the EEG and EOG signal,and then analyze the characteristic of EEG and EOG signal synthetically.Finally,analyze EEG by using the method of spectral analysis and sample entropy and analyze EOG by using time domain analysis.After the analysis,make sleep staging according to the analysis result.In order to verify the reliability of the algorithm,the designed algorithm is used to process and analyze the EEG and EOG in Sleep database of MIT-BIH.Compared with standard staging,the accuracy of staging is 85.7%.Then the system was used to monitor the sleep,and the result shows that the system can reflect the sleep condition of the subjects.In this paper,the sleep monitor system can monitor the sleep state in real time and divide sleep into different periods just by collecting one channel EEG signal and EOG signal.The system has the characteristics of small size,easy to wear,high stability,and meet the requirements of sleep family monitoring.
