Sleep is necessary in a whole life. With the constant progress of science and technology and the increasing social pressure, a sleep disorder problem is increasingly highlighted and sleep health problems are more and more get the attention of people.Sleep monitoring system is mainly used for the monitoring and accesee to a series of physiological parameters during sleep, and issue the report of sleep. Sleep monitoring are of great significance for the regulation of sleep quality, as well as the diagnosis of related diseases. In recent years, Polysomnography has been gradually applied to major domestic and international professional sleep center.However, facing the large crowd of sleep disorders, sleep center alone monitoring ability is not enough. What’s more, to those who have no other serious diseases else, the standard polysomnography monitor is not the best choice.Therefore, It is very important to develop a convenient sleep monitor.This article briefly introduces the status for sleep research at home and abroad and analysis of the law of EEG during sleep and sleep analysis method, also, introduces the internationally recognized standard of sleep stages. Aiming at the problems existing clinical use of the monitor, the article discusses a kind of portable sleep monitor system based on MCU Which mainly includes the hardware implementation, program design and data processing method.Hardware implementation mainly includes to selection of scalp electrodes, front-end amplifier circuit, system power supply design, the design of the main processor module which is as the core to EFM32G280, wireless communication circuit part based on CC2530and the design of the display part. Program design in the MCU includes several functions such as data acquisition, data processing and transmission module. And it is discussed and compared to the existing analysis method of sleep EEG. Ultimately, this article take the approximate entropy algorithm for data processing, obtained the results of sleep stages.
