With the development of the social progress and people's personalized demand,machinery manufacturing enterprises especially in the parts processing field gradually tend to many varieties and small batch production mode from mass production,and that result in more frequent operation setup activities and a large amount of setup time in the machining process,and that reduces the equipment resource utilization and production efficiency.Traditional research on operation setup time,are mainly concentrated in the scheduling problem based on the operation setup time and the single or partial factor's influence on the operation setup time.However,operation setup activities involve people,equipment,material,process method and environment etc.In this condition,it has important significance for the actual production arrangement to explore how to rationally allocate resource of multiple factors in order to shorten the operation setup time.With the accumulation of time,the enterprise production process must store vast amounts of data,including a lot of the setup time data and a large number data of its relative aspects.We need to take Data Mining technology to make the fullest use of these data to study the setup time influencing factors.Thus,this paper makes research on setup time influence factors based on data mining technology,and designs and implements a management information system to manage the operation setup time influence factors,and the main content is as follows:First of all,we analyzed various aspects of factors dependent on the operation setup time activity in the parts processing,and then integrated the various aspects of data,and established the operation setup Data Warehouse by the Data Warehouse technology.Second,this paper built the Data mining model for operation setup influence factors.On the first step,it took the clustering methods,such as k-means algorithm,to cluster the single operation setup time data to groups from small to large.The second step is to use the decision tree method,such as the C4.5 decision tree algorithm,to build the decision tree for the operation setup time influence factors.The third step is to convert the decision tree into if-then rules to analyze the value ranges of some other factors that lead to different operation setup time groups and complete the exploration research on operation setup time influence factors.Finally,combined with the computer system development technology,this paper designed and implemented the operation setup time influence factors management prototype system,to implement the Data Mining process for the operation setup time influence factors,the statistics function for the operation setup time and the information management for the operation setup activities.
