Design And Implementation Of PuDong New Zone Roads And Bridges Operation Inspection Management System

This thesis presents the design and implementation of the roads and bridges operation inspection management system for PuDong New Zone Roads Management Agency. The system's goal is to address the institute's demandss on civil infrastructures operation inspection and evaluation activities with the objectives satisfying the requirements in infrastructures quality tests and standardization as an efficient information management tool,solving the formality and large scale data management problems in the inspection activities.In combination with the business objectives and the real demands of this institute, the software architecture is established. The object oriented notions and methods are applied to establish the internal objects data structures and functions distribution, together with the database design scheme. The design is described by means of the objects class diagrams,transaction processing flowcharts and database entity-relationship models. The system uses the browser/server architecture with modules of inspection planning, basic information accessing, inspection evaluation, inspection data processing and task management. The roads and bridges operation inspection management system is programmed with C# and Oracle database platform. The software testing methods and examples are presented also in this thesis.Through the abovementioned works, the software's requirements are reasonable and practical. The current probation running proves the comparatively significant improvements on the accuracy and timeliness in inspection project management, as well as raising the accuracy and efficiency in inspection data management, satisfying the institute's roads and bridges operation inspection and evaluation services.
