With the rapid development of infrastructure and the construction industry in our country,waterproof material has been widely used in the waterproof engineering construction of subway,bridges,roads,ports,underground engineering and so on.In recent years,problems and losses which all caused by failure of waterproof increase gradually,which has seriously affected the life of the building and corporate reputation,so the detection of waterproof material's construction quality has become one of the most important aspect in the enterprise production and engineering quality contral,the thickness of waterproof material is the core tested content.traditional method of waterproof materialsample preparation on site and laboratory testing has the shortcomings of time-consuming,low sampling rate and destructive.So this paper study the measurement method of waterproof material's thickness with high precision that is based on ultrasonic,which has the advantages of nondestructive,high reliability and comprehensive,implement the online,nondestructive,automated measurement of waterproof material's thickness,and has important theoretical and engineering significance.The principle work as follows:(1)Have studied the main technical difficulties of waterproof material's thickness tested by ultrasonic nondestructive test on the basis of previous laboratory's work,study the method of improving the accuracy of measuring waterproof material thickness based on A\B ultra.(2)According to the construction requirements of waterproof material's thickness,propose a set of system designment scheme respectively based on A ultra,which solve the problen of low accuracy and the A-signal easily affected by cement blocks.(3)Develope an algorithm based on B ultra image processing of waterproof material thickness' s measurement which include speckle noise reduction algorithm and the method of extraction of waterproof material's thickness contour,accurately separate the image's target area and background area,which realised the automatic measurement of waterproof material's thickness.(4)Respectively make the experiment of waterproof material's thickness based on A\B ultra measurement system,and traditional way.The results show that the manual measurement results are in agreement with the measurement results when the two kinds of measurement system are in their respective allowed measuring range and reach 0.01 accuracy,which provide a new method to automatic measurement in the site of waterproof material's thickness and sweep the related disorders in order to further explore.The results of this article provide a new measurement method and instrument to solve the technology of ultrasonic nondestructive testing used in waterproof material thickness' s measurement.
