With the rapid development of the fourth generation of mobile communication technology, increasing greatly of the user's business needs and shortage of spectrum resources, the LTE-A standard was proposed by the 3GPP. As the key technology of LTE-A system, coordinated multi-point transmission and reception(CoMP) technology has attracted many scholars' attention, which can effectively improve the performance of cell edge users as well as the whole system. In order to use rescources more rationally, the resource allocation algorithm for downlink CoMP system is mainly researched in this thesis.The characteristic of the LTE-A system and the basic principle of the CoMP technology are briefly described in this thesis. Then the theoretical knowledge of CoMP technology is introduced in detail, which mainly included: the classification of CoMP, the selection of the coordinated clusters, the feedback scheme, the collaboration network scenarios and the commonly used scheduling scheme. Finally, this thesis launches research aiming at the shortcomings of resources allocation, the specific research is as follows:Through research and analysis, it is found that most of the algorithms are based on single business model in the process of resource allocation, and the users are treated equally without considering the differences among users. Therefore, this thesis proposed a proportional fair scheduling algorithm based on the user's business difference, which is researched with the starting point of improving the communication quality of QoS business users. Firstly, the cell users are segmented in details for QoS business users with minimum rate requirements and BE business users with no minimum rate requirements. Then, by adding the priority factor to improve the QoS business user's priority, so that the communication quality of QoS business users can be improved as far as possible in the situation of shortage of resources. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can improve the fairness of users and further improve the overall user satisfaction.Aiming at the situation for different levels of the same business user, a resource allocation algorithm for multi service based on utility function is proposed, which is researched with the starting point of improving the fairness of the users. Firstly, this thesis combined with the characteristics of QoS business and BE business and started from the utility function in economics to get the utility function of the two kinds businesses. Then, through the relationship between the utility function and the user experience, a new fairness evaluation method is proposed. Lastly, a kind of resource allocation algorithm is proposed, which can guarantee the communication quality of QoS business by adding weight factor, and realize a difference sacrifice the service quality of the BE business. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can not only improve the users' throughput but also can promote the fairness of different business users.
