With the advantage of unconditional security,quantum communication absorbs wide attention in the field of secure communication.Quantum Key Distribution(QKD)network is becoming practical in realization with the rapid development of relevant techniques in quantum communication.Since bandwidth is one of the major factors that influence the performance of classical communication network,measuring the bandwidth and being aware of the usage of bandwidth are meaningful for us to analyze the network performance and optimize the network.Similar to classical bandwidth,quantum key rate is one of the important factors that influence the performance of quantum communication network.Being aware of the generation and consumption of quantum key rate is meaningful for us to optimize the quantum network.In the thesis,we focus on the measurement method of end-to-end bottleneck key rate and available key rate in the QKD network based on trusted relay.In the thesis,firstly,we give a brief introduction of the development of quantum cryptography communication,and QKD network,and also explain the significance of this study.Then,we introduce the basic knowledge of quantum communication,including quantum bit,quantum entanglement,the unconditional security of quantum communication,the quantum key distribution protocols with BB84 protocol and the B92 protocol as examples,and the main performance characteristic of quantum communication system.Thirdly,for the QKD network based on trusted relay and without storaged keys,we analyze the key waiting queuing model,the components of time delay and the relationship between the key rate and packet interval to obtain the formula for key rate.Moreover,for the QKD network with different key update amounts,we put forward an end-to-end bottleneck key rate measurement method based on the analysis of the packet intervals,and simulate the method by OPNET.The simulation results show that the end-to-end bottleneck key rate can be effectively measured by this method.Fourthly,we firstly analyze the major factors that influence the end-to-end delay based on the analysis before;then we analyze the trend of end-to-end one-way-delay of packets when the sending rate is bigger or smaller than the available key rate.We propose an end-to-end available key rate measurement method based on the analysis of the trend of end-to-end one-way-delay with different key update amounts,and simulate the method by OPNET.The simulation results show that our method can effectively measure the end-to-end available key rate.Finally,we give a brief summary of the whole work and prospect the future research work.
