In the design and development process of radar signal processing machine,in order to ensure the performance of the system,it is often necessary to carry out a large number of field tests.This thesis designs a high performance and miniaturized radar echo simulator which aims at the problems of large test cycles,difficulty in selecting test scene and high price in the test process.This radar echo simulator system uses All Programmable So C ZYNQ-7000 as the main control unit and uses high performance data conversion serial interface JESD204 B for data transmission.The high-performance DAC chip AD9164 and the RF agile transceiver chip AD9361 are configured to realize the echo simulation of the intermediate frequency echo signal and the radio frequency echo signal respectively for different application scenes and different system radar signal processors,to complete the generation of echo signal and meet the needs of radar signal processor for different scenarios.This thesis focuses on construction of radar target scene and modeling of ECHO signal,generating target ECHO information approaching real radar scenarios,and realizing radar target echo simulation through high performance hardware boards.The works done in this thesis are as follows:Firstly,we bring in the concept of software radio,and then integrate data storage,signal generation,parameter control,radar echo simulation and other functions in the ZYNQ-7000 main control unit.based on the high speed DAC chip AD9164 and Frequency Agile RF chip AD9361,the integrated multifunctional miniature radar simulation platform is constructed.Besides,we build the Linux development system using ZYNQ-7000 specific central processing unit as the hardware platform.On the basis of this system,we utilize LABVIEW to develop radar echo simulator interface to facilitate the operation of echo simulation system.Secondly,we use LABVIEW + MATLAB mixed programming to generate analog echo signal,and take advantage of digital signal processing of MATLAB to model the target,clutter and interference signal.The model parameters are transferred through the LABVIEW host computer interface,so as to realize the signal modeling and the generationof echo signal in different application scenarios.Thirdly,the radar Echo Simulator designed in this thesis can realize the signal generation of the large bandwidth signal and the RF signal,and realize the signal acquisition function of the radar echo.based on the high-speed DAC chip AD9164 realizes 2.5GHz large bandwidth signal generation.based on the RF agile chip AD9361 realizes the signal generation function of the carrier frequency 70MHz~6GHz and the bandwidth 56 MHz.based on the high speed ADC chip to achieve 2.5GSPS Sampling rate signal acquisition function.The radar Echo simulation system integrates the mixing frequency,filtering and amplification to improve the system's integration,reduce the system power consumption and enhance the flexibility of system configuration.
