With the rapid development of electronic information technology and Internet technology, the remote monitoring system of industrial equipment is developing towards miniaturization, intelligence and networking. Welding machines have huge market share and strong market demand for space, in which digital welding machine has become the mainstream products. Adding network modules to digital welding machines is not only according with the current trend of technology development, but also can improve the efficiency of welding machines and reduce the operating costs.Through the study of this paper, the embedded Web server which is suitable for digital welding machine is developed, so that the digital welding machine has remote monitoring function. Through the analysis of the development status of industrial network and embedded Web server technology, this paper determines the design and development of remote monitoring system for digital welding machine based on embedded Web server as the focus of research and development.The hardware platform of embedded Web server is designed based on PIC32MX795F512H MCU and MRF24WG0MB module, and the software program is developed and debugged by using MPLAB X IDE integrated software development environment and C language. Based on the modular design idea, the design idea and method of software system such as the initial operation of embedded Web server hardware module, the communication module software design and the transplantation and cutting of the Microchip TCP/IP protocol stack are expounded in detail.In this paper, the remote monitoring system of digital welding machine adopts B/S network architecture, the remote host in the system uses the browser to monitor the digital welding machine by the embedded Web server. The embedded Web server module is relatively independent, high reliability and easy to maintain and upgrade. For the existing digital welding machine, do not have to make any changes in the hardware,only just through software upgrades can achieve product upgrades, reducing the cost of application.
